Inpatient Obstetric Review

Program Description:  Presented in lecture format, this course reviews topics reflected of the “Inpatient Obstetrics”, National Certification Corporation (NCC) examination. Elements of the examination are discussed, followed by a review of selected content. The major components include disease processes, antepartum and intrapartum evaluation, obstetrical complications, postpartum and neonatal assessments, and professional issues. Practice questions are integrated throughout the presentation. 

Program Objective:  The primary objective of this program is to enhance the participant’s ability to prepare for the “Inpatient Obstetrics” NCC examination. 

                       Maternal Newborn Nursing Review

Program Description:  Presented in lecture format, this course reviews topics for the “Maternal Newborn Nursing”, National Certification Corporation (NCC) examination. Elements of the examination are discussed, followed by a review of the content. The major components focus on the pathophysiology of maternal disease processes, with associated maternal/fetal/neonatal risk and postpartum assessment and neonatal assessments and complications. Practice questions are integrated throughout the presentation.

                Low-Risk Neonatal Nursing Review

Program Description:  Presented in lecture format, this course reviews topics for the National Certification Corporation's “Low-Risk Neonatal Nursing”.  Elements of the examination are discussed, followed by a review of content.  The major components include on fetal development, prenatal assessment, disease processes affecting the fetus and neonate, normal and abnormal physical assessment findings, and pathophysiology and general management of neonatal complications.  Practice questions are integrated throughout the lecture. 

Program Objective: The primary objective of this course is to enhance the participant's ability to prepare for the "Low-Risk Neonate NCC examination.
